Just Us (Entre Nós) — Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026 · App: Entre Nós / Just Us (Android, package com.kodalab.entrenos) · Developer: Joel Gomes (Kodalab) · Contact: joel.gomes@kodalab.pt · Português

In short

The game works offline. Everything you play stays on the phone, encrypted. When there is a connection and the consent settings allow it, advertising services may communicate with their providers.

There is no account, no server of ours and no usage analytics. We do not collect personal data. The only thing that ever leaves the phone because of the game is a «Sealed envelope» code, and only when you choose to send it yourself.

What stays on your phone

«Sealed envelope» codes

When you write an envelope, the app turns your text, your name as you typed it, the opening time, the level and its themes into a code. The phone that writes it does not keep it. You send the code to your partner with an app of your choice (share sheet or copy); that message is handled by that app and its provider, not by us. The code is lightly scrambled so it is not readable at a glance, but it is not encrypted: anyone who has the code and the app can open it at the set time. Send it only to your partner, and do not write anything you would not want read by someone else. The receiving phone refuses altered codes and keeps closed any envelope with a theme your limits left out. If you allow notifications, a local notification with neutral text («Something is waiting for you») tells you when it can be opened; the text of the envelope is never in it.

Advertising

The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the level screen, on «Us», on the role-play list and in Settings, an occasional full-screen ad between nights, and optional ads you can choose to watch: to open an extra pack, extra role-play scenes or special envelopes for 24 hours, to open the next level right away (it stays open) or for five more cards at the end of a night. There are never ads during a card or a round. When there is a connection and consent allows it, AdMob may collect the advertising ID, approximate location from the IP address, device information and ad interactions, to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. In the EEA and the UK you are asked for consent first with Google's form; you can change your choice in Settings → «Ad privacy choices». Ads never receive your limits, themes, cards, envelopes or names. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Notifications

Only if you allow them: an optional weekly suggestion and the opening time of a received envelope, both local to the phone, with neutral text and no names or content.

Audience

For adult couples (both 18 or older). Content is bold and suggestive, never explicit: no nudity and no sexual acts described, always within limits both partners choose, and every card can be skipped. It is not directed at children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete: your data is on your phone and you control it. For AdMob data, see Google's privacy policy. Questions: joel.gomes@kodalab.pt.
